Metal Technology is a course designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge to manipulate metal in different ways. These skills will be put to good use making various projects that involve marking out, cutting, bending and joining metal. Metal is a very functional material and can be used to make a lot of very useful devices and models. Workshop safety is a must when working with metal and students are prepared intentionally to enable them to confidently work in our workshops. Some interesting projects will be made and students will be able take them home once they are finished. Metal Technology builds into our Technologies priority which is a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM).
