This course is delivered across 2 years as this is a very large course of 390 hours depending upon the number of hours allocated by the School. The focus of this qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator in the film, television, radio or digital media industries who applies a broad range of competencies in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. Job roles include Archival media technician, Camera/lighting assistant, editing assistant, Interactive media author assistant or Production assistant.
