Worksafe Smartmove is a free online work health and safety education program that students are expected to complete prior to commencing work, be it work experience, formal work placement as part of a VET program or paid employment. Upon successful completion of the online modules, students will receive a certificate.
SmartMove is developed by WorkSafe Western Australia as part of the SafetyLine initiative to introduce the general concepts of work health and safety to new and young workers. The program is aimed at senior high school students in years 10-12, and new and young workers entering the workforce for the first time and consists of the SmartMove Certificate and SmartMove Safety Passport*. To use SmartMove Certificate, users need to register and create an account in order to record quiz progress and results.
Note: Students will need to complete the General Module before choosing their Industry specific module for their SmartMove Certificate.
